Volleyball Regular Season Wraps Across West Texas as Playoff Push Begins

The regular season has officially come to a close, and what a ride it’s been across West Texas. From record-breaking performances to down-to-the-wire district battles, every match, every set, and every rally has led us right here, the start of the UIL Volleyball Playoffs. It’s win-or-go-home time, and the intensity is about to reach a whole new level. Brackets are set, gym lights are bright, and postseason dreams are on the line as teams across the region prepare to chase gold and make their mark in November volleyball.
District 4-4A
🏐 District 4-4A Championship Saturday Recap 🔥
District 4-4A delivered plenty of excitement on the final day of the regular season! Randall, West Plains, and Canyon all entered the day tied at 11-2 atop the standings, while Dumas was battling to clinch a playoff spot.
In a highly anticipated showdown, West Plains swept Canyon (25-21, 25-17, 25-21) to clinch a share of the district title and finish the regular season as Co-District Champions with Randall!

The Demonettes secure the final playoff spot, sweeping Pampa in straight sets (25-20, 25-20, 25-23) to finish district play 21-19 overall, 8-6 in district.

🏐 Randall Outlasts Hereford in Five-Set Thriller! 🔥
Randall was able to fend off quite the effort from Hereford, which was fighting for its postseason life, as the Lady Raiders pulled out a hard-fought five-set victory (25-22, 22-25, 21-25, 25-21, 15-13).

Bennet Moore: 41 assists, 9 digs
Two Lady Raiders also reached career milestones on Saturday.
Kambree Gonzalez finished with 30 digs, surpassing 1,000 career digs

Hereford wrapped up its season with a valiant five-set battle, showing incredible fight and determination against one of the district’s best.

The Lady Plains ended their season on a high note with a dominant sweep over Palo Duro. Monterey controlled the tempo throughout and closed the year with momentum despite falling just short of the postseason. Palo Duro’s season also comes to a close.
🏐 LADY BULLDOGS FINISH STRONG IN STRAIGHT-SET WIN

3-0 (25-17, 25-11, 25-22)
Plainview wrapped up the regular season with a sweep over Lubbock High, finishing their year on a strong note. Both programs showed progress through district play but will miss out on the postseason this year.

The Liberty Lady Patriots closed out their regular season in dominant fashion, sweeping Snyder to finish 39-2 overall and a perfect 12-0 in district play.
This marks the third straight year the Lady Patriots have finished as undefeated district champions!

The Andrews Lady Mustangs wrapped up the regular season in dominant fashion, sweeping Monahans (25-18, 25-11, 25-17)
to capture their first district championship since 2017. It was a statement finish for a team that’s been on a mission all year, blending powerful offense with relentless defense as they now turn their focus toward the playoffs.
