The Lipan Indians are headed back to San Antonio for the fourth straight year after grinding out a 63-53 win over the Gruver Greyhounds in the UIL State Semifinals.

The Valley Patriots are headed back to the UIL State Semifinals after battling past a determined Boys Ranch Roughriders squad 56-52 Thursday night in the Region 1 1A-D1 Championship in Dimmitt. It was anything but easy.

In a game that had everything, Panhandle survived a double overtime classic to defeat Hale Center 75–70 and claim the Area Championship.

Nazareth claimed the Area Championship with a 60–43 victory over McLean, delivering a strong performance on both ends of the floor when the stakes were highest. From the opening quarter, Nazareth set the tone defensively and never allowed McLean to find consistent rhythm. The Swifts executed in the half court, controlled the pace, and made timely shots to maintain separation throughout the game.

Gruver secured the Area Championship with a convincing 68–54 victory over Farwell, delivering a poised and physical performance when the stakes were at their highest.

Panhandle secured its spot on the biggest stage in Texas high school basketball with a hard fought 41–37 victory over Wellington, completing a three game season sweep of the Lady Rockets. In a matchup between two familiar foes, every possession mattered. The Ettes leaned on their defensive toughness and late game composure to close it out.

The Gruver Lady Hounds are headed to the State Tournament. Gruver secured the Regional Championship with a 55–40 victory over New Home, delivering a strong performance from start to finish in a matchup between two familiar and talented programs.

The Shallowater Fillies captured the Regional Championship with a 67–48 victory over Bushland, turning an early deficit into a dominant performance on the biggest stage.
