Shallowater Claims Regional Title, Advances to State with 67–48 Win Over Bushland

Shallowater is headed back to the State Tournament.
The Fillies captured the Regional Championship with a 67–48 victory over Bushland, turning an early deficit into a dominant performance on the biggest stage.
Bushland came out aggressive, jumping to a quick 4–0 lead to set the tone early. But Shallowater responded immediately. The Fillies answered with a 13–0 run that flipped the momentum and never allowed it to swing back.
From that point forward, Shallowater dictated the tempo and controlled the game on both ends of the floor. Defensive pressure fueled transition opportunities, and efficient half court execution stretched the lead throughout the night.
Linley Wright led the way with 24 points, delivering a poised and confident performance. Keelie Williams and Kamryn Ledbetter each added 12 points, providing balance and steady production, while Emma Clawson chipped in 7 points to round out the scoring effort.
For Bushland, Berklee Billington battled throughout and finished with 22 points to lead the Lady Falcons.
In a matchup between two familiar and talented programs, Shallowater’s response after the early Bushland run proved decisive.
With the win, the Fillies advance to the State Tournament, carrying momentum and confidence into the final week of the season.
