District races are heating up across West Texas as we hit the home stretch of the regular season. Playoff positioning, rivalry pride, and statement wins are all on the line this week with several marquee matchups from Class 6A down to 2A. Programs like West Plains, Liberty, New Home, and Ropes look to keep their momentum rolling, while others like Canyon, Idalou, and Post are fighting to climb the standings. With beautiful weather in the forecast across the area and district titles up for grabs, Week 8 is shaping up to be one of the most defining slates of the year.
