West Texas volleyball continues to shine as district races tighten and playoff pictures take shape. Bushland extended its remarkable district winning streak to 101 straight matches, Shallowater held firm atop 2-3A, and Amarillo High, Liberty, and Randall officially clinched their playoff spots with dominant performances. From the 6A battles in Odessa to the small-school showdowns across the Panhandle, Tuesday night was a statement of depth, grit, and championship pedigree across the region.

Frenship Sweeps Odessa to keep pace in the district race


The Frenship Lady Tigers kept their momentum rolling Tuesday night with a straight-set win over Odessa, taking the match 25-18, 25-19, 27-25. Frenship improves to 24-13 overall and 4-1 in district, continuing to look sharp down the stretch.

The Amarillo High Lady Sandies are playoff bound after a dominant 25-11, 25-12, 25-16 sweep of Caprock on Tuesday night. The win moves AHS to 26-8 overall and 12-0 in district, securing their spot in the 5A D1 playoffs.

Lady Pirates Sweep Plainview to Stay Hot in District Play


The Lubbock-Cooper Lady Pirates took care of business at home Tuesday night, sweeping Plainview 25-15, 25-10, 25-16. With the win, Cooper improves to 20-10 overall and 8-3 in district as they continue to build momentum heading toward the postseason.

Coronado Sweeps Palo Duro for Another District Win

The Coronado Lady Mustangs picked up another district victory Tuesday night, sweeping Palo Duro 25-19, 25-13, 25-22. It was a full team effort for Coronado, which featured contributions from three JV call-ups who helped secure the win. The Lady Mustangs improve to 19-16 overall and 8-4 in district play.

Randall Cruises Past Borger to Stay Unbeaten in District Play


The Randall Lady Raiders kept their district dominance rolling with a convincing sweep of Borger Tuesday night, 25-15, 25-15, 25-10. The win keeps Randall unbeaten in District 4-4A and improves their record to 18-11 overall and 9-0 in district play.

The West Plains Lady Wolves continued their strong district play Tuesday night, sweeping Pampa 25-14, 25-15, 25-15. The win improves West Plains to 25-11 overall and 7-2 in district, keeping them among the top contenders in District 4-4A.

The Canyon Lady Eagles went on the road Tuesday night and earned a strong three-set win over Hereford, taking the match 25-14, 27-25, 25-15. The victory keeps Canyon within striking distance of first place, improving to 17-14 overall and 7-2 in district play. Hereford falls to 15-17 overall and 3-6 in district.

The Lubbock-Cooper Liberty Lady Patriots continued their unbeaten district run with a convincing 25-14, 25-7, 25-10 sweep of Levelland on Tuesday night. Liberty improves to 35-2 overall and 8-0 in District 5-4A, clinching a spot in the 4A-D2 playoffs.
