The Lubbock-Cooper Lady Pirates continue to shine early in the season, bringing home the Nita Vannoy Memorial Tournament Championship in San Angelo after an undefeated weekend of high-level play.

Pool Play Dominance
The Lady Pirates opened the tournament by sweeping their pool with three straight-set wins:
Sterling City – 25-19, 28-26
Bronte – 25-4, 25-6

On Saturday, after earning the quarterfinal bye Cooper powered through two tough tests in bracket play.

Championship vs San Angelo Central – 2-1 (23-25, 25-23, 25-17)
The Lady Pirates showed resilience in both matches, bouncing back after dropping a set to secure each win in three.
