The Lubbock-Cooper Liberty Lady Patriots continued their defensive dominance Tuesday night, posting a commanding 6-0 victory over Big Spring. The win marks their 13th shutout in their last 14 games and strengthens their stranglehold on the district standings with a 12-0-1 record. Over the course of district play, the Lady Patriots have outscored their opponents by a staggering 72-3 margin.

Alyssa Cuevas and Bella Cavazos led the offensive charge with two goals each, while Addy Evans and Emma White each found the back of the net once. Cuevas also played the role of facilitator, tallying two assists alongside Evans, who matched that total. White and Aerin Cavazos each added an assist to contribute to the well-rounded offensive attack.


On the defensive end, Karson Killham was a brick wall in goal, securing yet another clean sheet for a team that has made shutting down opponents a defining trait of their season.


With their unbeaten district streak intact and another statement win in the books, the Lady Patriots will look to continue their dominance as they inch closer to postseason play.
