šŸ 2025 Sideline Sports Preseason Volleyball Supreme Team šŸ

With the first serves of the season flying across Texas gyms today, there’s no better time to unveil our 2025 Sideline Sports Preseason Supreme Team, a celebration of the top returning volleyball talent from across our region.


This year’s list was one of the toughest yet to finalize. From powerful hitters and lockdown liberos to elite setters and rising underclassmen, the talent pool is deep and the expectations are high!


We wouldn’t be surprised to see many of these names making noise all season long and eventually taking the court at the Curtis Culwell Center in NovemberĀ with gold on the line.


Let’s meet the athletes who are set to lead the charge in 2025.


Setters / Setter-Combination Players


Allye Bandy – Junior, Setter/Outside Hitter, Ropes


Bandy showed her all-around skill in her varsity debut, dishing out 727 assists while adding 404 digs, 90 kills, and 84 aces.


Malory Holdman – Senior, Setter, Coronado


Holdman was a key playmaker for the Lady Mustangs, logging 858 assists, 307 digs, and 68 aces on the season.

Lyndee Brown – Senior, Setter, Henrietta


Brown set the tone for the Lady Cats’ offense with 1,099 assists, while also adding 342 digs, 118 kills, and 88 aces.


Bennett Rea – Junior, Setter, Amarillo High


Rea helped steer Amarillo High to 37 wins and a trip to the regional semifinals, handing out 748 assists and adding 260 digs along the way. Her impact earned her District 3-5A Setter of the Year honors.


Bentley Brooks – Senior, OH/Setter, Miami


District 1-1A’s Defensive MVP, Brooks had 370 digs, 221 assists, 220 kills, and 91 aces in a dynamic all-around season.


Outside Hitters


Abby Dallas – Senior, Outside Hitter, Lubbock-Cooper Liberty


Named District 5-4A MVP, Dallas posted 315 kills with a .273 hitting efficiency, while also adding 115 digs and 20 blocks.

Bliss Dane – Senior, Outside Hitter, Frenship


A first-team all-district selection, Dane tallied 360 kills, 422 digs, and added 43 aces while maintaining a strong 2.3 pass rating.


Jorja McGuire – Senior, Outside Hitter, Shallowater


McGuire delivered on both ends of the court, recording 279 kills, 378 digs, and 53 aces to help lead the Fillies.


Emma Clawson – Senior, Outside Hitter, Shallowater


Clawson’s power and consistency led to 373 kills on .203 hitting, along with 127 digs and 26 total blocks.

Jade Guetersloh – Junior, Outside Hitter, Plains


The District 2-2A MVP totaled 336 kills and averaged three digs and two blocks per set, making her one of the most complete players in her class.


Aspen McAllister – Junior, Outside Hitter, Shamrock


A true utility player, McAllister posted 190 kills, 178 digs, 154 assists, and 38 blocks in a standout sophomore campaign.


McCauley Woods – Sophomore, Outside Hitter, Water Valley


As just a freshman, Woods racked up 317 kills, 87 aces, and 308 digs, emerging as a breakout star for Water Valley.


Middle Blockers


Natalie Ceniceros – Senior, Middle Blocker, Denver City


A dominant net presence, Ceniceros racked up 477 kills and 125 blocks to earn District 3-3A Offensive Player of the Year honors.


Madi Heider – Senior, Middle Blocker, Lubbock-Cooper Liberty


An efficient force at the net, Heider hit .333 while tallying 257 kills, 60 blocks, and 45 aces.

Amber Matthews – Junior, Middle Blocker, Randall


Matthews made an immediate impact in her first varsity season, earning District 4-4A Newcomer of the Year honors with 190 kills and 98 blocks.


Aaniyah Kitchen – Senior, Middle Blocker, West Plains


Kitchen helped power the Wolves to a regional final appearance, notching 370 kills, 96 blocks, and 106 digs with her explosive athleticism.


Kenzie Ward – Senior, Middle Blocker, West Plains


A first-team all-district selection, Ward was a key presence in the Wolves' playoff run with 271 kills and 83 blocks.

Libero/Defensive Specialists


Whitlee Blacklock – Senior, Libero, Lubbock Christian


Blacklock anchored the back row for LCHS with 932 digs, showing elite instincts and consistency in serve receive.


Ellen Head – Senior, Defensive Specialist, Amarillo High


A First-Team All-District 3-5A selection, Head led the Sandies with 464 digs, while also contributing 132 assists and 82 aces.

Maddi Dewbre – Senior, Libero, Monterey


The record-setting senior led the Lady Plainsmen with 635 digs, becoming the program’s all-time digs leader while adding 42 aces and 97 assists.


Bennett Berryman – Senior, Libero, Tascosa


The District 3-5A Defensive Player of the Year averaged over 13 digs per match and finished with 781 digs, 126 assists, and 64 aces.


Lexi Kemp – Junior, Libero, Wall


Co-Defensive MVP in District 6-3A, Kemp anchored the back row with 507 digs, 101 assists, and a 2.22 serve-receive rating.
