Panhandle secured its spot on the biggest stage in Texas high school basketball with a hard fought 41–37 victory over Wellington, completing a three game season sweep of the Lady Rockets. In a matchup between two familiar foes, every possession mattered. The Ettes leaned on their defensive toughness and late game composure to close it out.

The Panhandle Ettes put together one of their most complete performances of the postseason Thursday night, using a balanced offensive attack and disciplined defense to defeat Abernathy 61–39.
