Leopards Claim Area Championship in Dominant Fashion

The New Home Leopards are on a mission — and they don't look to be slowing down anytime soon.

With a powerful sweep over Wellington, the Leopards claimed the Area Championship in emphatic fashion, winning 18-0 and 10-0 in back-to-back shutouts.

Pitching was the story of the series. Graham Stanford, Jair Johnson, and Tucker Cotton combined for 10 scoreless innings, silencing Wellington’s offense and setting the tone from the mound.

Add in stellar defense and red-hot bats, and it’s clear this New Home team is firing on all cylinders.

Next stop: the Regional Semifinals.

Lions Dominate Their Way to Area Championship

Lions on the prowl — and on a mission.

The New Deal Lions are your Area Champions after a dominant sweep of Sunray, winning Game 1 by a score of 12-0 and Game 2, 14-2.

From the first pitch to the final out, it was all New Deal. The top of the lineup — Attebury, Calzada, Sumner, and Alonzo — led the charge, combining for an incredible 14 RBIs across the two games. The 1-4 hitters set the tone and never let up.

The Lions are playing championship-caliber baseball and now head full steam into the Regional Semifinals.
