With the 93rd Annual THSCA Coach School kicking off today it feels like the perfect opportunity to recap this years coaching changes here in West Texas. As of mid-July, there have been over 235 head coaching changes across UIL Class 6A through 2A schools statewide and many of those are right here in Region 1. With the first practices of the 2025 Texas high school football season just weeks away, let's look at the 21 programs in our area who will be under new leadership.
